It has an annual median temperature of 21C and an annual average rainfall of 5000 mm. The Irlanda estate is a pioneer and promoter of the organic-biodynamic system of coffee production, which includes cadamon, caco, honey, (wooden) species, flowers, and tropical foliage. It currently exports high quality organic-biodynamic sustainable-grown coffee, socially just, environment friendly, to toasters in Germany, Holland, Sweden, United States, Japan, Denmark, and England, and is certified by prominent international brokers. This farm has demonstrated that coffee production can be economically viable, environmentally safe, and socially just, and able to compete in an increasingly difficult market. Owner and promoter Walter Peters greets you with a cordial manner and a cup of one of the world’s most select coffees.
